Define Reference Parameters

Reference parameters are similar to derived and predicted parameters. Derived and Predicted parameters receive values from calculation and predictive algorithm respectively, whereas the Reference parameters receive values from the performance curves.

To define Reference parameters:

1. Click Add Record.

2. In the Add Parameter pop-up, select the checkbox to choose the Reference parameter(s).

3. Click Add.

4. To define Physical property parameters, click the next tab.

   • Parameters are grouped under five categories: Constructional, Operational, Derived, Predicted, and Physical Property.

   • When adding a record under any category, only unused parameters are shown in the selection list.

   • For example, if a parameter is added under Constructional, it is unavailable for selection in any of the other five categories.
